Announced during the AI Action Summit in Paris, the EU AI Champions Initiative represents a bold €150+ billion commitment over the next five years to scale trustworthy AI in Europe. Spearheaded by General Catalyst, this coalition brings together major players such as Airbus, Siemens, SAP, and BNP Paribas, alongside some of the most innovative AI companies driving the next wave of AI deployment.
A shared mission for Europe’s AI future
The EU AI Champions Initiative brings together more than 60 ambitious businesses committed to establishing Europe as a global leader in AI development and application. The initiative aims to frame a positive shared vision for Europe by mobilizing talent and capital, accelerating AI adoption in established industries, and increasing European companies’ competitiveness.
Led by General Catalyst, its mission is to foster a resilient partnership between incumbents and technology providers to unlock Europe’s full potential in AI.
At LatticeFlow AI, we’re excited to contribute to this effort by addressing one of the most urgent challenges in AI today: bridging the gap between AI governance and operations.
“Our mission at this forum is to accelerate AI adoption by removing key blockers related to performance, reliability, and lack of trust. We’ll advocate for lean, actionable regulatory rules. And as a forerunner in technical evaluations for the EU AI Act, we remain committed to developing the world’s first EU AI Act compliance evaluation framework for Generative AI, keeping it open-source and accessible to everyone.”— Dr. Petar Tsankov, Co-founder and CEO.
Scaling trustworthy, high-performing, and compliant AI
Our participation in the EU AI Champions Initiative reflects our continued dedication to helping enterprises deploy AI systems that are not only high-performing but also trustworthy and compliant with internal governance frameworks and external regulations such as the EU AI Act.
Through our platform and open-source initiatives like COMPL-AI, we’re translating regulatory principles into concrete, actionable technical evaluations, making AI compliance more accessible and operational for all.
We’re honored to join forces with fellow champions and policy leaders shaping Europe’s AI future and to contribute to building an ecosystem where innovation and trust go hand in hand.
